Southern Style Kung Fu

Broad classification of Kung Fu. The distinction between southern and northern style is not just a geographical difference, but also a difference in method and technique. The southern style is a "short fist" style, using short fast hand strikes and low kicks. Examples of southern styles are Wing Chun, Choy li fut, Hung Gar, Southern Praying Mantis, White Crane, Dragon, Tiger, Leopard and Snake.
