Snake Style

Style of Kung fu. Uses circular movements in its blocks and attacks: circular attacks are countered with direct attacks, and direct attacks countered with circular movements. Pin-point open-handed strikes are characteristic as are twisting arm postures which disguise the line of attack. Stances are upright and mobile using rapid advances and sidesteps.

There are three sub-styles which probably influenced the modern forms of snake style: Viper which used strikes intended to draw blood and intimidate; Cobra which would not cause any apparant damage but would cause serious damage by striking nerve and pressure points; and Python used pinpoint strikes using the leopard fist and included grappling.
