ITF

International Taekwondo Federation. One of the two main world governing bodies for the Korean art, Taekwondo. The ITF was founded by General Choi in 1966. It focuses on the more traditional aspects of Taekwondo (the WTF emphasises the sporting aspect) and uses semi-contact sparring (WTF practises full-contact).
